Code4Bill – Round #2 Gets Started

January 25, 2006 by Jason Bean

Just had a comment on this blog from a participant in the Code4Bill push who’s making it on to the 2nd round:

sir,

i just sat for the code4bill competition round1 and have been promoted for round2. i wanted to knw if there’s any blog or anything in that reagard through which could discuss the questinos with similar thinking people.

thanking u
sagar

First, let me say congratulations Sagar for making it through to the 2nd round. I wish you the best of luck.

Secondly, I’m not aware of any specific Code4Bill blogs that are available for applicants to discuss the topics you suggest. There is the official Code4Bill Blog and the Official Code4Bill Site, but I don’t believe either one of them are providing what you’re looking for on a blog. So, with that being said, I encourage you to post your questions and comments in the comments of this post and we’ll see how much interest and activity we can attract. I’ve also setup a new category for Code4Bill.

    sir,

thanks alot for all the above. regrding the questions, if any code4bill applicant is reading this blog kindly post the problems/confusions faced during those 6hours of the test each day. the problems that i faced during the 1st day was the first question which was of 16ladders and 2nd day the problem i faced was in the 1st 2 questions and those were 27mins-arrival and 6guys-12stations one. any IITian or kinda genious if has the answer/logic to that problem kindly do post here.
    eagerly waiting for the answer/logic.

for me code4bill round1 day1 was easy as compared to the round1 day2 as i could attempt all 8/8 in 4hr40mins but it took me 1mins more the next day and could attempt only 7/8.

yeah, abt me. me 3rd year comp sc and engg student from delhi, india. and i think there should be around 4lakh applicants for the test(who attempted it seriously) as my calculations say.

    thanks
    sagar
