Color Problems Explained

If you’re a web designer and work with a Mac, you’re probably like me. You’ve encountered a time wherein you made something cool in Photoshop. Great design, good colors. Client approved it and now it’s time to bring it to HTML. So you start saving your images for the web. That’s when the whole world starts to crumble. Your picture perfect design when saved for the web, well.. it just looks simply awful. The colors are washed out. It’s not what you intended to be. You scream and start pulling out your hair. You can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong…

Well, luckily Chris MacAskill of SmugMug took time out to write this very informative article. Chris explains to us why some of our designs and photos look awful when saved for the web. The article is a great read. From what seems to be a very passionate author.
