Comcast TiVo… It’s… Alive!

The day many Comcast DVR users have been waiting for is here: TiVo is alive and running in the wild! Dave Zatz over at the infamous Zatz Not Funny has posted a snapshot collection of various screens of the Comcast TiVo interface, and it’s looking similar to TiVo’s, just a few different changes here and there.
Any specific details dealing with pricing/fees are not made public, but it is speculated that it may cost anywhere from $2.95 -$6.95/month in addition to the DVR fee and possibly an one time “upgrade” fee. The remote is slightly changed (customized to fit Comcast’s features) and the On Demand content is still available. Keep an eye out for the official rollout of the TiVo in all markets.
