Comet McNaught: So bright you can see it during the day

If you have a chance, you need to get out in the late afternoon and check out comet McNaught. It has surprised many of us with how bright it has become. Here’s a YouTube video, made by truemartian, on a Sony Hi8 camera that captures what you can see brilliantly. It has become even brighter since this video was taken last week:

I’m not going to spew out how to view it and what it is since, as always, there are many out there who’ve already it done it. I just wanted to make sure readers of my blog knew about this before it goes away. It is just east of the Sun (to the left as you’re looking at it) and is best seen late in the afternoon, towards sunset.

This one’s going away quick folks and once it passes Sun, it’s leaving the Solar System, so try to get outside and take a look. It’s one of the coolest comets to swing by in a long time.

I haven’t been able to see the comet because of the clouds :(
But i have enjoyed watching the pictures and videos people have posted online.

I’ve been searching for it for the last two weeks, both morning and evening, but no luck seeing it. I was thinking I am too far south to see it (s. CA), but I can’t even see it at noon. So, I’m a bit disappointed.
