A new Singapore startup, Comiqs, has just came up with an online application that let you turn your photos into comic-panel-styled flash widget that can be embedded anywhere in your online properties. Simply, this application let you choose your photos, make it into a comic panel, with speech bubbles and lame captions attached. I’ve tested the application last night at an event and I gave this tool a two thumbs up. It works with your Flickr account (soon with Facebook).

We also aim to build to build a fun and light-hearted community where people can hang out to have a laugh or two.
Comics As a Communication Tool
We believe that everyone is an artist, given the right tools. Our tool and service is so fun and easy to use that we believe that you will find it a great joy to use it to create comic-style stories to share with your friends and families.
The Comiqs team is still working hard to iron out a few bugs before the site goes live so if you have a soft spot for comics but don’t have the time to draw them in your blogs, this one tool is for you. Do sign up for the soon-coming closed beta.
