Microsoft has promised the “largest upgrade since Windows 95” in Windows Vista. Bentuser.com takes a look at build 5270, which will probably be one of the last intermediate releases before the “feature complete” Beta 2 release. In the article he looks at what this upgrade means in real terms by comparing it with the venerable Windows XP. The article covers the Start Menu, Window Switcher and other Window Management Features, Search, Windows Media Player 11, IE7, Media Center 2, Control Panel and some other features.
