Congrats to Shel Israel joining Fast Company.TV

I saw my friend Shel tonight at the DEMO08 mixer and the first thing he asks me is…”did you hear about my new gig?” Huh?  I replied.  Not very intelligent, but I’ve been up since 4 AM.  Shel showed me his press badge (I have to take a pic of mine, eh?) and it read “Shel Israel, Fast Company”.  W00t!  Shel waxes philosophic in his post announcing the new gig:

I am about to become a video blogger. As of today, it is my main gig.

I’m joining Robert Scoble at FastCompany.TV. My show will be called GlobalNeighbourhoods TV (GNTV). I’ll be covering social media’s impact on culture and business. I hope to speak with people from all over the world, people in start ups and in the enterprise, people who are changing the world or are being changed by what is happening. Personally I like the way Shel does interviews.  Which is good, since that’s pretty much how I do them too.  Yeah I have my shtick and routine, but, I like to be chatty and informal.  Look this is supposed to be fun, right?

And Shel, with my new gear from Intruders.tv, I thin my tool is cooler. ;)
