I spent all day yesterday at the Arts Club Theatre on Granville Island in Vancouver at Convergence 2008. Billed as a day to “join other savvy marketing and communications professionals from across North America to learn how to stay competitive in the ever-shifting digital landscape.”, Convergence brought us several panels, and as per usual, some useful information and some that I’ll toss as soon as i go through my notes.
I’ll have postings up about Convergence tomorrow… I was “kicking it old school” yesterday with a notebook and my pencil. I’ve got some great shots as well, but I haven’t downloaded them yet.
Today, I’m headed back to Granville Island to hit VidFest and catch the keynote. Famed Wired Editor in Chief, Chris Andersen is speaking this morning, and I’ve already got several other panels I want to catch.
I am taking my laptop today, despite it being ridiculously heavy, and I will probably bitch and moan about it all day. But, I will have wi-fi, which means that I should be able to post on the fly. That’s the plan at least, so we’ll see what happens!
