CopyCamp Coming to T.O.

CopyCamp, which is being billed as an “unconference” (isn’t the whole unconference thing done like dinner already?) focused on art and copyright. The event is being organized by the Creators’ Rights Alliance at Ryerson University’s School of Journalism in lovely downtown Toronto. Some of the featured speakers include Michael Geist, Geoff Tansey, Moana Maniapoto, Richard Fung and Lillian Allen. So how much does the two and a half day event cost to attend. Well, it depends. The regular registration fee (for folks who can afford it such as lawyers) is $700, although were a few early-bird tickets for $495. There will also be subsidized spots and, hopefully, a number of free spots (I assume for the proverbial struggling artist). You can register here.
