Copywriters Are Not Content Writers
And I’m sure many of you know that already :)
A real copywriter – someone writing sales and marketing copy. Content writers – depends entirely on the subject matter. Sales letter writers are copywriters but called “direct response copywriters.”

- I’m certain you can find someone of quality in: Anthony Blakes’ Copywriting Expert’s Forum
Good writing!

Those are good resources for finding copywriters. There are some at Digital Point but most of the contracting out jobs happens in PMs and not on the public listings.
Thanks Anne – I wanted to offer my readers some resources and let them do some work to find the right one for them… that info should help.
Thanks for dropping by :)
Edit – And just now I find you at the Warrior Forum learning how to speel lol…
The whole premise behind Copyblogger (at least at first) was to apply copywriting tactics to content… because content *is* advertising.
So, to some degree, content writers should also be copywriters. :-)
Now, don’t be messin’ up my hard work Mr. Clark… laffin’
Okay, okay – I defer.
:)
Yeah, but the way I’d say it is probably content writers aren’t (necessarily) copywriters. Having done, and doing (for myself anyway) both, sometimes content seems easier than copywriting… might be just me.
