The Cleveland Browns were able to add depth to their secondary by signing Corey Ivy, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens. Ivy will give the Browns an extremely capable nickel defender who is also able to step into a starting cornerback position when needed.

For the Ravens, Ivy is the third cornerback that they have lost in the offseason. Samari Rolle and Chris McAlister were let go earlier in the offseason. To replenish their secondary, the Ravens have signed Chris Carr and Domonique Foxworth. Carr played last season with the Raiders, while Foxworth was on the Broncos.
Ivy has played in 110 career games and has recorded 278 tackles, 9.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and three interceptions. After playing at Oklahoma, Ivy was undrafted in the 1999 NFL Draft. Details of his contract with the Browns have yet to be made public.
