Could This Be Considered A Moral Victory For The Cincinnati Bengals?

The Cincinnati Bengals had no chance in the game against the New York Giants played earlier today. At least that’s what everyone around the NFL thought. And I believe most of their fans thought that as well. At least the Bengals didn’t seem to think so. It took overtime for the Giants to 3-0 and thier best start since 2000. As for the Bengals, they start the season 0-3. Where do they go from here?

The offense finally showed up for the Bengals. Carson Palmer was 27/39 for 286 yards and a touchdown and Chris Perry rushed for 74 yards. They had the lead at the half up 13-10 and drove down the field with under 2 minutes to go in the game to get the game into overtime with a field goal. Those are some things to be optimistic about. But will this same team show up in the upcoming games are will they revert back to what they attempted to be in the first two games of the season?

They have 6 more games until the bye week. Cleveland, @ Dallas, @ NY Jets, Pittsburgh, @ Houston, and Jacksonville. Even though they did not get a win today the Bengals need to take something positive out of the game before they wake up in a few weeks and realize that they have become 0-9.
