Cricket News!

I don’t understand cricket. I know it’s like British baseball and that the games are long and that there might be tea involved. That’s about it. Also, I think there’s something called a googily and the bats are useful for kicking zombie ass. For the most part though, I don’t get cricket. But this is the sort of thing that makes me want to pay attention.

According to the caption, these aren’t just disgruntled Indian fans. They are Congress Party activists. And they’re not just upset because India has lost back-to-back games to South Africa by a combined 263 runs. (Really.) They’re also fairly pissed that the team’s coach had this to say regarding Indian parliament after the group criticized his team:
They are entitled to make any comment they like. That’s what they are paid to do in Parliament.
In response to this criticism, India’s Union Agricultural Minister will fly to South Africa to convey the nation’s concerns with the cricket team. Which is exactly what India needs.
