Crysis Multiplayer ADD with Optional Punching Package

As some of you know, videos of multiplayer for Crysis have come out. I was highly anxious to see the game being put through the multiplayer paces. Sadly this is not what we get. Upon watching the videos you see what must be this guy all over again. They need to stop letting him play. I understand it’s nifty to toy with the power-up features and to get a feel for them, but for the love of all things Holy, STOP punching things!. To the best of my knowledge Crysis isn’t a Boxing sim. Get your f’scking gun and go shoot your enemies. The guy can’t even do that. He meanders his way to where some “action” might be, actually gets the drop on someone and then doesn’t do anything. He just stands there like he wasn’t sure what to do with the gun. I half expected him to go and try to punch the enemy.

The second video isn’t much better. This one throws me off a bit. It might be him. But I’m not sure. He didn’t try to punch anything, but he’s still got that ADD of wandering around and not actually engaging in any multiplayer. Oh there’s people there with him. That fact becomes painfully obvious as an enemy wanders across in front of him and he instead decides to look at the waterfall. Yes. It’s pretty. We get that. We all know how damn pretty the game is. Go shoot someone damnit. He then gets in a hummer and drives around which shows some annoying motion-blur effect as you take a “sharp” or “sudden” turn. Looked to be highly distracting. The most interesting effect I saw was the texture tearing of the terrain as ADD punch-boy cruised the island. Hopefully that “special” effect will be left out in the full release. Numbnuts then wanders around some more and eventually, once again, gets capped by someone who was doing what they were supposed to be doing. Shooting the enemy and engaging in some multiplayer action.
