Cultivating a personal brand means that you should be willing to research and invest time to determine what you want to communicate and how you want to communicate it. Once you have determined your plan of action, then you should be prepared to implement it.
To help you cultivate your personal brand, I thought it would be good to give you a few pointers in the starter list below:
- Make sure you have a website or blog where you can communicate about your personal brand.
- Create rich content that allows you to share your knowledge.
- Develop a personal brand plan that includes a photo shoot or at least the creation of a headshot.
- Choose keywords that describe you wisely. Make sure that they clearly communicate your personal brand and message.
- Develop a motto or USP (unique selling point) that communicates your personal brand.
- If you can’t do it by yourself, hire a branding specialist to help you develop your personal brand.
This list should help you get started with developing your personal brand online. To help you further, the video below has excellent information that should continue building on the foundation above.
