NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
The Bronco’s are saying that Jay Cutler is staying.
Bummer for my Lions or any other team needing an awesome young quarterback.

PUt the Denver helmet back on, Jay Cutler. You are staying.
Denver’s coach Josh McDaniels is going to try and mend fences. Good Luck on that.
But why no trade?
SI.com’s Peter King reports that the Broncos are unlikely to trade Cutler because they wouldn’t be able to recoup his value. “Say you’re the Broncos, and Tampa Bay offers you two ones [two first-round picks] plus [second-year quarterback] Josh Johnson for Cutler,” an unnamed NFC coach told King. “Denver makes the deal and picks a quarterback with one of the ones. You’ve traded the best young quarterback in football for two guys who might have a chance, but might be washouts, too.”
