Dario Minieri Wins a Bracelet?
Dario Minieri, also know as the extra from Lord of the Rings who made waves in the WSOP broadcasts last year for his reckless play and his ridiculous scarf, also known as the first guy to cash in PokerStars players points for a Porsche w/o being old enough to drive one, now turned his hyper-aggressive style into a 2008 WSOP bracelet.
Playing $2500 buy in no limit hold em 6 handed, Minieri took down just over half a million, along with some further validation that his peculiar and seemingly ridiculously aggressive style has at least some method behind the madness.
Hopefully this year if he shows up in the main event he’ll get some new duds with that cash.
I think it was on Party Poker were he won the car. Also he won three major online tourneys (think the buys in where over $100) in an afternoon.

sorry most of the time im not too clear. This is open to everyone. You send me your online name to see what your stats are now, then in 30 days we compare our stats. Who ever has made more money wins the challenge. People play on there own time against everyone online not just each other.

We are talking about 9 person SNGs? No 6 max right? Or does it not matter.

Ok, i will accept the challenge. I’ll be a little behind though in terms of time but that is ok.
Maybe now i’ll have a reason to care about low stake SNGs. I always get so bored and the play can be so bad that I stop caring and push all in with draws just to see if they hit.
Funny thing is the draws hit quite a lot.
But I will play “solid” poker since bragging rights are involved.
