The Datel Wii Drive Doctor let you access and alter your Nintendo Wii DVD drive and memory. Just connect the Wii Drive Doctor to a PC with the supplied USB cable and you can view and modify the Wii DVD drive memory even when the console is running. This device appeals to home brewers and programmers as some soldering and programming is needed. The fun part is after you inserted your own code, you can appreciate your program or game in action and give yourself a pat on the back. £19.99 ($40) for this homebrew gadget.

Drive Doctor’s Memory and Command views give you a unique insight into the innermost workings of your Wii’s disc drive memory, and even let you make on-the-fly adjustments. You can read status, write data, send control commands, report the drive status and more. By injecting your own code into the data stream, you can also create your own effects and experiment with modifying the program.

Play with your drive via wiiemulator.net

I purchased the WiFiMAX, but it does installwith windows Vista. Do you have a new update driver/firmware for Vista? If so please send me instructions on how to download it.

This is one of the dumbest products ever. Who would spend money, invalidate their Wii’’s warrenty, and possibly mess up its system code with one of these!? And for what, winning a game by cheating. (That is, if you don”t ruin your Wii.) This is just another dumb piece of unlicensed equipment for nerds that have nothing better to do and are bad at video games. I, for one, play my Wii like a normal person. This is just retarded crap! Now go meet some new friends (not on the internet), step out of your mom’s basement, and see the real world!

This device is not for cheating its for backing up your wii games.
For honest people so they don’t ruin their wii disc’s phwaahaha.
But in reality so you can hire games from the video store and make yourself a permanent copy.
