Dawkins Gives Tickets to Eagles Ex-Employee

So often today someone says something, someone else takes offense, and people get fired or have to give lame apologizes that they probably don’t mean.
Here’s one of those type of situations: Last month, a “seasonal game day employee” of the Philadelphia Eagles named Dan Leone was fired for voicing his opinion. He said he thought “letting veteran Brian Dawkins leave via free agency” was a mistake. The Eagles then canned him.

Since he was a seasonal game day employee (which meant that he worked during home games), he essentially lost the ability to attend those games.
Then Dawkins signed with the Denver Broncos, and took the two tickets that he would get for the Eagles game (since the Broncos play the Eagles once) and gave them to the fired employee. It’s a wonderfully kind gesture. Something you just don’t see anymore.
