Before you start rolling your eyes (or pretending to) I know a lot of guys who were closet fans of Dawson’s Creek. Sure a lot of people said they watched it because of their girlfriend,
wife or sister but there’s a reason why the show catapulted the careers of Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams even though I never found either of them all that attractive.
Maybe that was part of the charm, though. I think the thing that made people like this show was that the cast looked like regular kids that you might find at your own high school. The writing was good for most of the seasons but I wasn’t particularly happy with how the series ended.
If you want to relive it all, you can pick up the Dawson’s Creek: The Complete Series DVD set. It was released earlier this week and includes 24 discs containing all 127 episodes.
