Democrats announce Convention Lineup.
The names (and dates) of the featured speakers at the 2008 Democratic Convention have been released.
The convention, being held in Denver, Colorado, begins of Monday, August, 25th. The program on Monday will include a tribute to the Kennedy family (one night? we dedicated a whole day!).
Senator Hillary Clinton is scheduled to speak on Tuesday (8/26) evening, and former Virginia Governor, Mark Warner will deliver the keynote address. Current Virginia Governor and (once) vice presidential nominee hopeful, Timothy Kaine is also part of the Tuesday night lineup.
Senators Joseph Biden and Evan Bayh (IN) will speak on Wednesday evening (8/27), as will Bill Clinton. Reportedly, Senator Obama’s (then chosen) running mate will also be speaking on Wednesday (would be very convenient if he went ahead and chose Biden or Bayh).
On Thursday, Barack Obama will accept the Democratic nomination.
That is, assuming everything goes to plan – Hillary Clinton is on the roll-call ballot…
