Depending on How You Look at It…

it’s good or bad news. Scott over at Health and Men has put up this post about how the daily minimum requirement for cardiovascular exercise has been raised to 55 minutes for health gains, instead of 30 for the obese.
If 30 minutes seemed daunting, almost doubling it will surely send the apprehensive workout-er running for the hills.
Maybe the hills are 55 minutes away. That’s one day’s worth right there.

Yea…if people thought 30 was long, no way they’re going to do this. It all goes back to the fact that we’re not supposed to sit at desks all day. We’re supposed to move regularly!
Wow. I mean, wow… I thought devoting an hour to exercise a day was above and beyond. That blows my self righteous bubble alright!
This is when we need the experts to urge/pound into everyones heads “BUT EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS!”.
…here’s to hoping that news won’t scare anyone off!
SAGAN nailed it.
wont waist (I pun’y) your time trying to restate what she already done said.
Hmm.. do you think their ’standard’ lengthened due to the increase in the obesity rate(s).
I absolutely agree.. a lil of something is better than a lot of nothing.
