Derek Jeter Engaged?

Hearts are breaking all over New York (and perhaps the world!) at the rumor that Derek Jeter is secretly engaged to his girlfriend Minka Kelly. Kelly, an actress, supposedly has caught Jeter’s attention to the point where he’s ready to make it official. A source close to the couple says they will get married “in the fall.” (Which, for those of your counting along with us, means the next couple of months.)

Why in the fall? Because that’s when baseball season is ovah - that’s why!

Apparently the two lovebirds are telling close friends to keep the super secret wedding date open.

Kelly, for her part, is denying that they are engaged. She did this as most actresses do, through her rep. But she also denied she was dating Jeter in the first place a while back, and we already know that’s not true. So who knows.

Could Derek Jeter really be off the market for good?
