Detroit Lions – Coaches wear Clothes and Team is Respectable

Defensive Coach Donnie Henderson for the Detroit Lions had the defense fired up. Although, neither Henderson nor Head Coach Rod Marinelli were coaching in the nude, they did manage to lay naked the Seattle offense holding them to 9 points.
The 9 points was not enough for victory as the Lions made mental error after mental error struggling to master the offense created by the Master Mike Martz. There were glimmerings of good times to come as Kevin Jones ran hard and physical and Kitna often had time to throw. Alas, the final score was 9-6 Seattle.
The Lions wore new uniforms that were mostly black to reflect the new toughness and aggression. Their attitudes seemed to match the new uniforms. Time after time they were in the Seahawks backfield making it tough to move the ball.
