Developers: Why switch to the SDK from Installer.app

There are good reasons for this:
· Being able to legitimately offer a product for the iPhone – Jailbreaking an iPhone is technically illegal, and most definitely voids a warranty. No developer wants to be on the bad side of the company that their software would work under
· Ease of payment for software – Some of the jailbroken apps are shareware, requiring payment to the author via PayPal or other options. With Apple’s central store, people can pay using iTunes and immediately download full versions of their software, all with the same ease they have paying for their music.
· Accessibility to everyone – Not everyone jailbreaks their iPhone. Many people are too nervous at the fact. I was nervous as well initially (doubly so after I bricked my iTouch…) but I did Jailbreak. Point is, however, that not everyone is going to go out of their way to risk bricking their iPhone for Installer.app, but hey, the App Store is right there, almost completely safe!
· Features that Installer apps don’t get – Features such as Location-awareness and several others aren’t part of Installer’s repertoire, so you don’t get the full abilities of the iPhone with Installer, unlike with the App Store.
Are you switching to App Store? Are you staying with Installer.app? Or are you fence sitting and going both ways? Let us know in the comments
