Dexter and Personalising Video

To support the UK release of the TV series Dexter, Ralph have created this very nice video at icetruck.tv, purporting to be a news report you can send to your friend. The video is then personalised, by adding their name and a message, which are displayed inline in the video. A lovely way to do something a bit different – and fluster your friend with the realistic incorporation of the elements.

Dexter Video

With the series set in the US, I can see the reason for basing the video in the US, but I think it could have had more of an impact with a UK setting. But I love the integration and personalisation – it increases the level of engagement. Scare your friend today and send them one. And you could watch the programme – it’s good.
