“Dexter” Unveils Season 4 Promo Pics!

The fourth season of Dexter will begin on September 27, 2009 and I’m extremely excited, especially after seeing some production stills that Showtime has released.
In the photos, we get our first glimpse of Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Rita’s (Julie Benz) new baby boy, 
Harrison. He looks about six months old in this picture so I’m guessing we will skip his early infancy but I’m hoping the season will begin with the birth. It would be really interesting to hear what Dexter is thinking as the realization of impending fatherhood hits him.
I’m still wondering how Dexter is going to manage helping out with the baby while keeping up with his killings since he always does them at night but Rita is bound to get up during the night with Harrison. Surely, she’ll notice if Dexter is missing so it’s going to get interesting…
There’s also a shot of John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer and, of course, he looks creepy but I’m not sure how important his role is going to be. They’ve kept the details of his character really well guarded but I’m sure it’s going to be something shocking.
I’ve also got to say that I will seriously doubt Deb’s (Jennifer Carpenter) abilities as a detective if she doesn’t start to suspect her brother of being the Bay Harbor Butcher. Seriously, it will start to become unrealistic if something doesn’t develop here, even if he is super careful and methodical.
