Dial Up Networking through the iPhone!

July 24, 2007 by admin

This video is proof that dial-up networking (or DUN) is possible through the iPhone. I am using the dropbear ssh server compiled for the iPhone’s ARM Processor, and connected the iPhone via an AD-HOC network to my laptop. My laptop is then set to use a SOCKS proxy which uses an SSH tunnel through my iPhone to access the internet over AT&T;’s EDGE.
