Disable Memory Dump

In any case you want to disable memory dump in Windows Vista, below are the steps:

1. Open Control Panel

2. Go to Advanced System Settings

3. Go to Startup and recovery

4. Go to settings

5. Look for the write debugging option drop down

6. Set the item to “None”

Disabling the Memory Dump allows you to free the CPU of processes and avoid scattering your file system which causes slow performance.
