A news article posted on Macworld written by Nancy Goghring of the IDG News Services reports that the Associated Press (AP) has sued VeriSign over its news aggregation service, Moreover. The lawsuit aims to stop the VeriSign owned company from publishing the content of the AP. Morever offers a number of news aggregation services to application developers, businesses , and individuals. Not suprisingly RSS is also used to deliver content to Moreover users.

And then there is this:

From the Silicon Alley Insider Henry Blodget and Peter Kafka talk about the drop in the on-line advertising spending. And its possible connection to the recent to the collapse of the mortgage market. And the possibe cold affect on the Internet. And this belief seems to be supported by of the FT Tech Blog.

One is a legal case that might affect how information is distributed and the other a potential Internet recession that might affect how business will flow in the next few months, would this slow down the buying spree of Google? Will the business model for Internet-based enterpises change? And what effect will these have and effect on RSS and web feeds?
