DIY Wrist-Rugs, Trackpad and Apple Logo Protector

Homemade Macbook Protector

My creative friend Carlo is at it again. Complaining that most Wrist-Rugs, Trackpag protectors were expensive, he took matters into his own hands. He chanced upon a material called “Decorative Vynil for Glass” which is similar to self adhering film. He bought a roll which cost roughly 10 dollars and with that “Big Ass Roll” he had enough material to experiment and create the protectors for his Macbook Pro.

I gotta give him props for being this creative and well… hardworking in trying to save some money. Being the lazy ass chap that I am, I would have just forked over the money for the ready made protectors… But, what he did is still pretty good. If by the off chance I don’t feel lazy one day I may just go ahead and try making one myself. Go check out how he made it here and here.
