Do a Month in Review

As a manager, it’s critical that you look back at your month and see what went well, what needs improvement, and what needs more of your attention. As a writer, it’s important that I look back and see the same things.

So here is my month in review for this site.

What went well:

What needs work:

  • Need to find a better way to moderate comments and trackbacks so I can
  • Re-engage with my commenters and folks who continue the conversation (thank you for hanging with me)
  • Need to find new ways to share my articles with those who need them (got any ideas?)

Questions for you:

  • What are your big wins?
  • What needs more works?
  • What will get your continued attention?
  • StumbleUpon
  • Digg
  • Facebook
  • Mixx
  • Google
  • TwitThis
  • Reddit
  • Yahoo! Buzz
  • Slashdot
  • E-mail this story to a friend!

  1. After starting out my blog a little more than a month ago I was in a very huge hurry due to an upcoming camp of 17 days (with no internet access). I thought that I can lay everything out, from the designing of the blog to pre-scheduled posts and marketing. I had to realize that too much was too much. Now I’m working on the last details of the design (constructive criticism is appreciated), and I am trying to post on a regular basis. I am going to rewrite my about me and 404 pages and make them more useful very soon. Also, establishing relationships with other bloggers (via guest posts, for example) seems to be a good idea.

By the way great post, it was good to sum my things done and things to do up.
    Cheers,
    Zoli

  2. “by night… he is a professional speaker” lol that sounds funny :))
