When you look at this diagram, you can see that there are three sections: (1) Human, (2) Social networks, and (3) Website/blogs. To help you understand the significance of each section, I have provided brief decriptions below:
- Human: this component is very important to creating a social media roadmap because it connects you with others within your roadmap. As you interact with other via the examples shown above, you can share links to your social media profiles to build traffic to the profiles.
- Social networks: identify the social networks that would most beneficial to your social media roadmap. Also participate on bookmarking website such as D.I.G.G. or Delicious. Also build your social profiles on websites such as Twitter, Facebook, hi5 or LinkedIn so that you can connect with other users and build your social network of people.
- Website/blogs: sharing content that draws traffic to your website or blog is another way that you can enhance yoru social media roadmap. Make sure to integrate your social media profiles into your website/blog so that you can enhance your website visitors’ experience.
