If you don’t, you could lose them. So if you are having problems with meeting commitments, then maybe you do need to fire yourself and hire a support team that would help you out. A support team could consist of:

  • Graphic designer
  • Virtual assistant (VA)
  • Web designer
  • Bookkeeper
  • Housekeeper
  • Accountant

There are so many more types of team members that you can add to your support team to help you stay on target. Determine what your needs are in regard to support team member, you need to assess your business and see where you are either overloaded or overwhelmed. Then ascertain what tasks you an outsource to your team.

Case in point, I know that I have a bad habit of over scheduling myself. If I let control of my calendar in my hands for too long, I could overwhelm myself with appointments. Therefore, I have a VA who handles my calendar and keep me organized. She schedules my interviews and speaking engagements which takes a big load off of my hands.

As you decide to fire yourself from doing specific tasks in your business, remember to replace yourself with an excellent support system. Ask your business associates that you trust for recommendations and do your research. Don’t be afraid to interview the prospective support team member. Good luck in your search for good supporting team members.
