Does Jose Canseco really regret naming names?

Somehow, I seriously doubt it. Jose Canseco’s penchant for the attention overshadows his words of regrets. If he had issued a simple statement through his publicist, sure, I might believe him.

Instead, he decided to do a one-hour interview/documentary on A&E called, “Jose Canseco: The Last Shot.”

Last shot at what? The spotlight?

Canseco said in the interview that he regrets mentioning specific names and that he never knew it was going to blow up the way it did.

Puullleeeassse. He knew. That’s why he did it because he followed that very statement up with the fact that he wanted revenge on Major League Baseball because he felt he had been treated unfairly.

Canseco doesn’t regret naming names. What he regrets is the fact that his plan backfired, and he came out looking as dirty and shady as the very names he mentioned.
