Does RCR Have Inside Track with Dale Jr. ?

Jeff Burton made some interesting comments when he said that Richard Childress Racing was more than likely going to add a fourth ‘Cup team to the operation in 2008.  He sure sounded like the cat that caught the canary when he also said that “some exciting things could happen…”.

Of course, I’m reading between the lines that he’s referring to Dale Jr., 
but I  could be way off base. On the other hand, I can’t think of any other driver that would generate the kind of “excitement” that Burton is referring to.

On a different note, I was glad to see Kurt Busch penalized, but even more satisifed that Penske Racing was also docked points, because hopefully this means that Busch will feel the added heat from the owner of the team now. In the past, the drivers basically blew off the fines and points because they could make up the points, and they’re making so much money now that fines don’t even show up on their financial radars.
