Don’t be upset

Everything will be alright.
We swear.
Boy would I like to be a fly on the ball rack at the next Michigan State practice. Getting worked over at home to the Wildcats of Northwestern has to cause Tom Izzo to get absolutely zero sleep tonight, maybe tomorrow night too.
MSU as a team committed 18 turnovers. Guard Chris Allen had 7 of them, in fact Allen played pretty poorly overall, shooting just 1-11.
As for Northwestern, senior Kevin Coble did his best Larry Bird impersonation, scoring 31 points and making a disgustingly pretty falling away off the glass shot late in the game he had no business in making, or for that matter, taking. Northwestern ended MSU’s 28 game home win streak, beating them for the first time since 1984. Lake The Posts has the rest of the goods on this one.
Wake Falls
Despite shooting 22-37 from the charity stripe, Virginia Tech beat Wake Forest on the road. Sophomore guard Malcolm Delaney scored 22 and A.D. Vassallo chipped in with 16. It was a bona fide slobberknocker.
