Don’t read too much into Duke’s win over UNC

Attention all Duke basketball fans – take a deep breath and relax.
Yes, your Blue Devils had a big win last night. Yes, it was against your arch-rival and nemesis North Carolina.
Yes, it was in the Dean Dome.
But, don’t forget one very important thing: UNC was not a full strength. And that is a very important fact.
With point guard Ty Lawson on the shelf, and with backup point guard Bobby Frasor out for the year, Carolina is going to struggle offensively. This is a given.
So, Blue Devil fans, be happy that your team won. Be happy that your guys have a two game cushion in the ACC standings. Be happy that your team secured a very valuable ACC road win.
But don’t get carried away just yet. Stop yapping about owning the ACC. Let’s see how well the Devils do against UNC with Lawson in the lineup.
Then, and only then, will we be able to truly tell who is the king of Tobacco Road.
