Don’t Tell Anyone – It’s A Secret – [Add Your Own Job Board]

Lotsa hat tips for this one…

  • Garrison – a commenter at Brian’s Copyblogger

Which motivates me to introduce another opportunity for all to add your own job board. But, you can’t let anyone know otherwise there will be a proliferation of job boards all over and we’ll dilute the content so keep it a secret, okay?

Brian let this cat outta the bag;

Job Thread, which has a publisher program allowing you and I to add our own job board and earn – money!!!

Garrison then posted a comment introducing two more resources for job boards – Jobberbase and Kitchen 2.0.

Jobberbase is open source and has a single industry focus. Kitchen 2.0 is not free though requiring installation on your own server, imho, offers more control yet might be a bit messy in the beginning if you aren’t sure of what you’re doing.

Go make some money! :)

    Thanks for the mention Mark!

    I’ve been studying the 2 job board solutions for a project which isn’t a job board, if that makes sense ;-)

    Both are decent solutions, both can be customised as they are open-source. The Kitchen Two solution, J-Board, has the edge ‘cos of the Paypal integration, but it wouldn’t take much to get that working on JobberBase.

    Here’s a nice example of what can be achieved with JobberBase by customising the look and feel:

    My pleasure Garrison :)

    Thanks for being helpful…

    Deb NG posts daily, and I post 3 x a week… I’ve been doing it for years and use it to drive page views on both http://www.thegoldenpencil.com and http://www.aboutfreelancewriting.com as well as newsletter subscriptions. I try to post only jobs you can do from home… others have different criteria… I’ve never charged employers, partly because I didn’t have a mechanism… I probably won’t switch, or maybe I will.
