Don’t think blogging can benefit your business? Think again.

A recent New York Times article featured the pros and cons of using a blog as a marketing tool for small business.  But very few small businesses utilize blogging.

According to some of the people interviewed blogging does not lend itself to all small businesses.

I say, fooey.

It doesn’t work when you don’t have a plan or put in an effort – just like any marketing tool.

And I’m not the only one who feels this way. There’s a contest going on over at Business and Blogging. Try to stump the team of great writers over there by naming a business that couldn’t benefit from a blog.

And if you do stump them (I bet you can’t!), you’ll get some free promotion and publicity on -what else? – the Business and Blogging blog.  (See any business will benefit from blogging!)

    Hi Shannon

Fooey! – I like that. And couldn’t agree more!

Thanks for encouraging your readers to try and stump us – we love a challenge. And speaking of challenges, we’ll be responding to your husband’s challenge of “a blog for a quarry” on Friday.

Come by to see how you think we did!!!
