Dragon’s Den Gains Viewers

November 15, 2006 by Mark Evans

The P.R. machine behind the Dragons’ Den television show is hard at work with a release that the last show on Nov. 8 attracted 547,000 viewers – a 250% increase since the show debuted in October. One way to look at it is the show must have got to a slow start. While you can argue about whether the entrepreneurs who accept money on the spot are getting good advice, there is little doubt it’s entertaining.

Dragon’s Den is hard not to watch, even if you only as a tool for lively dialogue. Some episodes tend to be like a firey car crash that you just can’t pull your eyes away from.

I can’t tell if the producers are incredibly brilliant or terribly inept with some of the “sales pitches” they let onto the show.
I might be leaning towards the former.

Look for an interesting turn of events on a recap show which I believe will air on tomorrow nights episode.
