Dun dun dun duuuuunnnn… dun dun duuuuuuun.

If you read the title to my post, can you hear the theme from Indian Jones? I know I can. But upon reflection, if you didn’t know this post was about Indiana Jones, I’m sure you would have though I was just a freak job.
Well. I am.
HOWEVER, this entry is not about me, but it’s about the brand new fan game Indian Jones and the Fountain of Youth (Or as the development team calls it FoY. This word amuses me for some reason. I laugh inside). The developers of FoY, Screen7 just released the Demo for the new fan game.
Apparently these guys went through a lot of trouble to get this game up and going. It’s apparently taken years to get it all together and there’s finally a demo! Yay!
This game was created to look like Indian Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, so it’s got that class point and click feel that I know a lot of people like. The demo has 10 playable screens, excellent music, and puzzles they say won’t be seen on the real version of the game. The story sounds really cool, too. Here’s a small portion of the story:
On the trail of the missing Dr. Burton, Marcus, Indy, and his student Shelly Hartley discover more than they bargained for – the secret history of an old legend, the device that triggered an ancient arms race, and a source of power which could tip the balance in favor of the forces of darkness.
It looks really cool and I’m thinking it’ll be a really great adventure game for those people who like the older point and clicks. I think the Indian Jones and the Fountian of Youth website says it best:
Join the Man in the Hat as he undertakes another thrilling adventure…because if adventure does have a name…it must be Indiana Jones!

And a great demo this was… 10 beautiful rooms. Indy-joy!
Indy is so awesome. Too bad Harrison Ford is getting too old. They should’ve made a bunch when he was a young lad.
