Dwyane Wade has been marvelous during the 2008-09 NBA season. On Easter Sunday, he scored a new career-high 55 as the Miami Heat beat the New York Knicks by a final score of 122-105.

Wade scored his 55 without taking many shots. He finished the game 19-30 from the field, 6-for-12 from beyond the three-point line and 11-for-13 at the charity stripe. He also chipped in with nine rebounds and four assists in his 39 minutes of action.
With the win, the 42-38 Heat are now locked into the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. They will open the playoffs on the road against the fourth seeded Atlanta Hawks. If they advance past the first round, they will almost certainly face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round.
Michael Beasley, the rookie forward for Miami, scored 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. The Knicks were led by the 21 points apiece by Al Harrington and Wilson Chandler.
