Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 is being released today on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.  The game is based on th e anime series and follows the first in the series, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam (2007).

Developed by the Omega Force team, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 combines the action and adventure of the Dynasty Warriors games, the power of the Mobile Suit (which you can customize with mecha parts collected from battles!) and the excellent storylines and characters of the Gundam universe.

Also, players will love the fact that, for the first time ever, they will be able to engage in melee battles (of course, players can battle online in multiplayer mode as well).  I have also read that the units are going to be more mobile, allowing players to use thrusters to dash, jump in mid-air, and even fly at times.

Also, since I haven’t played the game yet I can’t be completely positive but I’ve also heard that the number of mobile suits that are playable is three times that of the firstl Gundam while Wikipedia is listing a whopping 62 total suits (that’s actually more than three times the 19 available in Gundam).
