DynCorp International Lands $915M Contract

DynCorp International, a worldwide provider of specialized services to military agencies and civilians, has announced that they have agreed on a deal with the United States Department of State that could potentially pay as much as $915 million. The deal calls for DynCorp International to provide security for United States diplomatic personnel when in the country of Iraq.

The deal, which could last anywhere from one year to five years, goes into full effect in the first week of September.

Said William L. Ballhaus, the CEO of DynCorp International: “This award is a tremendously important opportunity for DynCorp International to support the safety and security of U.S. diplomatic personnel serving in Iraq. It’s an honor to contribute to our government’s efforts to promote peace and stability in Iraq, for us as a company and for every person who serves with us.”

Headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, DynCorp International has more than 16,500 employees around the world. In excess of 95% of its annual revenue comes from government agencies.
