E-Checks Are Working Again… For Now

Online communities (pokerforums.org, twoplustwo.com) are chattering with joy as poker players are once again able to send  e-check payments.  Though I have no personal knowledge, a friend has confirmed these reports to me.  However, I haven’t heard of anyone being able to cash out through e-checks which is the key to all of this.

This blogger recommends U.S. players go ahead not deposit any more money as getting it back is no sure thing.  Plus, you’ve got to worry about the e-checks.  (haha)

In other significant non-WSOP poker news, Durrr has erased a large Patrick Antonius lead in the Durrrr Challenge and now actually has a sizeable lead ($726,546.5) on the superstar.  I hadn’t realized this yet, but there’s an independent website specifically for keeping track of the heads up battle.  See the  Durrr Challenge.  Don’t hold your breath on this lead yet.  The aggressive pros are only 20,647 hands out of 50,000 into the game.  Lots of poker still to go.
