Not to mention 2 inches of solid muscle mass in 21 days. All yours for answering three simple questions from IronWorkout.com. Today I was your guinea pig and I’ll tell you what was on the other side after filling in the questionnaire. Here were my answers:

I’m between 20 and 29.

My workout experience is advanced.

I can bench between 250 and 300.

The email sends you a link for your first “e-course” which covers bench and basically advocates proper lifting. Here is the link to the page. At the bottom of the website, you’ll see a link for a sales page on the program. The only thing that impressed me was the number of “testimonials” the author was able to secure.

Maybe they’re real. Maybe they’re not. I actually didn’t like the way the guy’s body looked so even if I was considering such a book, I wouldn’t have bought the program. In the end these weight lifting books probably have some really good info, but nothing you can’t find for free with a little digging and searching on the web. If you’re making a purchase because you think you’ll magically unlock a lot of secrets, make sure you’ve worked out extensively beforehand and aren’t just tricking yourself into thinking you’re working towards your goal. Secrets or not, you still have to put in the work.
