E2 In Control

     Talala, Oklahoma pro, Edwin Evers is in control of the lead on the 5th stop of Elite Series tour on Clark’s Hill going into the 4th and final day. Edwin who already has a win with the Elites on Lake Erie last year is hoping to win his second Elite Series event and earn some much needed points in his bid to the AOY title. Something he has vowed to make a run at the past couple of years. 

     Evers is carrying a lead of just under 2 lbs. An easy slip up for anybody. If you remember, we saw Chris Lane do the same thing last year on Clarks Hill. After having milked his area for all it was worth and having a couple of key bites come off, he let it get away from him by loosing by just over 1 lb. to Mike McClelland. History can easily repeat itself. Only this time it is Kenyon Hill and Davy Hite waiting in the clutches to steal the victory. We already know Edwin’s the man. Let’s just hope he is the man with the plan!
