E3 Quickies
Most of you know that E3 is this week. The golden days of geekhood for most of us. Where we drool over brand-new playable yet-to-be released games and of course all the promises of the new games to come. So we’re probably gonna get a lot of good tidbits to come out this week.
First up on the list is more screenshots from Bioshock. Now that we have some, or atleast what looks like, in game screens it’s nice to see how the final game is shaping up. And it looks to be doing so nicely. Unfortunately I’m fairly certain screenshots are the only new content we’ve got for that one.
Next is one of the new PS3($600 ahahaha) releases, Resistance:Fall of Man. I think one of the boys on Evil Avatar says it best when he says “looks like Half-Life 2 meets Call of Duty”. And I’d have to agree with him on that. I’d mention some interest in getting this but..it’s on the PS3 and I will in no way pay $600 for a console. Blu-Ray or not. Co-worker said why get one of those when you could get an Xbox 360 and possibly the new Wii(me? us? you?) for the same amount. That is, if the Wii(hehe) has a considerbly lower pricing scheme than the others, which is not unthinkable given the Gamecube’s $99 pricetag.
That wraps up those quick ones. I’m sure there will be much more to follow. And hopefully some better games to look at. Though Bioshock by far ranks up high on my list of games to wait for.
