EA can Kill Facebook?

Simon JeffreyWell at least that’s what Sega of America CEO, Simon Jeffrey, told at an interview with VentureBeat, according to CasualGaming.biz.  He said, once EA focuses on Facebook, the kids will move on.

I’m like, huh?  I wonder what makes him think that?

Well maybe he saw Facebook as another MySpace, a site he thinks needs to mature.  They will play on social networking sites but will not over-invest.

Instead, they’re focusing and betting on their partnership with Apple’s Iphone.  Their Super Monkey Ball title is number 1 and it’s an extremely high profit-margin business.
